Hello, I’m Tim Wilmot, a watercolour painter and tutor. I share demos every week or so and run online and in person workshops.

I’ve loved painting with watercolours since I was young, and now I am lucky to call it my full-time job. I enjoy painting everyday scenes, capturing the special light and soft shadows that make a moment come alive on paper. On this website, you can see a gallery of my original paintings and find prints of my favourite pieces, perfect if you want something unique to brighten your home.

I really enjoy sharing what I’ve learned with others. Whether you are just starting out, getting back into art after many years, or want to take your watercolours to the next level, I offer courses that are easy to follow and friendly. I regularly run live online demonstrations, as well as in-person workshops and art retreats. Painting in a group is such a great way to learn, and I always keep it relaxed and welcoming. There’s no pressure – just time to practise, have a go, and enjoy painting together.

Each video is easy to understand, and I show you exactly how I approach a painting, from the first brush stroke to the last detail. You don’t need any experience, just a willingness to try!
